Eastweek Review of Underground Recipes
(Translation)

Locally oriented 4 foreign girls band Sister of Sharon; a trend of pop rock from Lamma Island with a heavy style of American Culture are always active in our local independent music world. Coming back after a long time, this new album feels clearly more mature and stable. The basic structure of their music is still straightly direct, bright and clearly rhythmic. Among them, the focus piece "Will You?" is the first try to sing in Cantonese. A song with a touch of punk rock. Very unfortunately, the rhythms and the lyrics are not coherent. Additionally, the intended special style of vocal part made it very embarassing so the result is just the reverse of the origin. This makes it the worst part of the album. Others such as "Goodbye", "Cherry Tree" and "Barbie"...etc., all have high standard performance; especially "Goodbye", have a strong sense that reminds us of The Cranberries.
